1. Pussy Control - Prince
Here is a song that will never go away. People will continue playing, and dancing to this one for years to come. Why? 'Cause when you are dancing on the weekend, you don't really care what is playing, as long as it's not the Hamster Dance, or wait, people dance to that too...

2. Hey Ya - Outkast
Now this one is understandably a favorite with a weekend coffee table dancer. The beat makes the song, making everyone forget the lyrics, their surroundings, and their inhibitions. This one could give you alcohol poisoning by itself. Listen to this while drinking, and you will be set for days to come.

3. It's a Hit - Rilo Kiley
So yeah, this one exhibits some real taste. This song (and band) is something worth noticing, even if good music isn't always your forte.

4. Shot in the Arm - Wilco
Wilco is one of those things that you should enjoy at least twice a day, like brushing your teeth or drinking. This is a band that never falls flat and continues to put out reputable tunage no matter what. If this band does not appeal to you, or you just don't like this song, that's fine, but it means you are definitely a terrorist.

5. Turn Me On - Norah Jones
Say what you will about Norah, but I won't. What I will say is that she definitely appeals to any female out there that ist't deaf or dumb (stupid). While her tunes strike my ears in a slightly different way, she is still not bad, which is more than can be said for the French.

6. Slow Me Down - Aberfeldy
This is a nice little song from a sweet little band. Too bad we don't have a sweet little girl to recommend it to us... But really, while the lyrics are incredibly pointless, this song will put anyone in a good mood, regardless of whether they are a republican or not.

7. Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard - Paul Simon
I have heard this song about 1500 times because of aforementioned girlfriend. And let me tell you, if you are me, it does get old. If you are her though, I think it must only get better. But it's not bad... the first 25 times.

8. Banana Pancakes - Jack Johnson
This is an intense techno song about making pancakes. Jack Johnson brings is characteristic driving beat to the kitchen as he prepares breakfast of electronic bliss. Is that really how this song sounds? No.

9. It's 5! - Architecture in Helsinki
This song is about the most fun you can have in four minutes, with a few exceptions I'm too decent to mention. Try listening to it without smiling or dancing.

10. Annie Waits - Ben Folds Five
The best part of this song is of course the clap, because you get to do it more than once, and because the penalty for missing it is scorn. That's right, this song has kept me ready to clap at a moment's notice. So to any of you single readers out there, stay single, and enjoy the bliss of not missing the clap.
