Colorado College Joins SCAC

Colorado College recently joined the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) becoming the 11th member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III league. CC will start participating in cross country, swimming and diving, tennis and outdoor track and field during the 2006-2007 academic year. For the 2007-2008 academic year, the Tigers will start competing in basketball, football, men's soccer, softball, and volleyball.
Along with the addition of CC, the SCAC will also lose a member. Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will no longer participate in the conference after the current season. The remaining members of the SCAC are Austin College, Centre College, DePauw University, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College, University of the South, Southwestern University and Trinity University.
