The beginning of summer means the launch of some of the hottest tours.

Summer is fast approaching, and with that, it's time to look at some of the hot music acts that will be touring this summer. Without further delay, I give you what will be the 10 hottest tours this summer, in no real particular order.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - The band's been around for quite some time and has already achieved considerable prominence with a number of successful albums, but they are claiming that their upcoming double-CD album, Stadium Arcadium, is their best work yet. If you get a chance, check out the first single from the album, Dani California, for a preview of just how good this album will be.

Pearl Jam - Continuing on the theme of bands that have been around for quite some time but are about to release their magnum opus, Pearl Jam is getting ready to release their self-titled Pearl Jam album. Like the Chilis, they've already released the first single, "World Wide Suicide" and the rest of the album is sure to be at that quality.

Counting Crows & Goo Goo Dolls - Yep, you read this right. Two of the most beloved bands from the 1990s are joining forces to co-headline a tour. The Goo Goo Dolls will be promoting their new album, Let Love In, while the Counting Crows will likely be playing material from their greatest hits album released almost two years ago. This is one of the better co-headlining tours recently pushed by promoters.

Bruce Springsteen & The Seeger Session Bands - "The Boss" is joining up with a new band, a change from his usual "E Street Band," to promote his new album The Rising on a tour that should feature a slightly different Bruce, but nevertheless an enjoyable Bruce. As one who has had the privilege of seeing him before, I can guarantee that he will certainly not disappoint.
