--Shake 'Dat Laffy Taffy…formally, of course
Are you ready to shake your laffy taffy somewhere else besides Martin Hall? Hendrix formal is tonight, starting at 9 p.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. If you don't have a car, no worries, there is a shuttle leaving campus at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. and coming back to campus at 12:30 and 1:30 a.m.
---If you want to eat something downtown before going to formal, there are a few places within walking distance.

The Flying Fish: A little more laid back than Boscos, The Flying Fish is also located in the River Market District. It is casual dining with great prices, i.e. great food with no frills. You order at the counter, get your own drinks and seat yourself. Call (501) 375-3474 for more information.
Sonny Williams' Steak Room: This is one of the nicer restaurants downtown. Their chefs create new menus seasonally, including deliciously creative appetizers, soups, salads and desserts. With a grand piano bar and a patio with great views of the area, you are sure to have a great dinner. Call (501) 321-2999 for more information or reservations.
