Sarita Riley, Music Director of KHDX, said that she was disappointed with the move, but that "nothing can really negatively affect us—KHDX isn't even functional." While the other offices need only to move computers and their concept of where "home" is, KHDX needs to move their "ten-watt tower of power," a fairly massive CD collection, and numerous complex electronics to the new space. Fortunately, said Woods of KHDX, "there's a nice storage space [in the new building] for things like the radio station's CDs."
Riley said that the move would be rather difficult, and that the school would do well to hire a qualified technician to assist the students—with emphasis on the school. "I think that there is someone knowledgeable enough to handle this in Little Rock, although the school should pay for that. The money from the Student Activity Fee doesn't have a chance at covering it. The problem is that the administration is expecting us students to have a level of technical expertise that only professionally-trained people have."
