With the renovation of the Campus Center come major changes, one of which will be the relocation of the headquarters for the student media. Currently, the offices for the Aonian, the Profile, the Troubadour, and KHDX, Hendrix's radio station, are located on the second floor of Hulen. Starting this summer, the collective media will be moved to what is currently the Public Safety building; Public Safety's offices will be moved in with Physical Plant's facilities. Robert Woods, who was Media Chair at the time of the proposal of the relocation, said that "we were not offered any other options. It was pretty much something that Wayne Clark offered to Senate as what the administration wanted." He went to tour with Student Senate's Executive Committee, and found that "there's still enough room for people to do what they need to do."

Sarita Riley, Music Director of KHDX, said that she was disappointed with the move, but that "nothing can really negatively affect us—KHDX isn't even functional." While the other offices need only to move computers and their concept of where "home" is, KHDX needs to move their "ten-watt tower of power," a fairly massive CD collection, and numerous complex electronics to the new space. Fortunately, said Woods of KHDX, "there's a nice storage space [in the new building] for things like the radio station's CDs."

Riley said that the move would be rather difficult, and that the school would do well to hire a qualified technician to assist the students—with emphasis on the school. "I think that there is someone knowledgeable enough to handle this in Little Rock, although the school should pay for that. The money from the Student Activity Fee doesn't have a chance at covering it. The problem is that the administration is expecting us students to have a level of technical expertise that only professionally-trained people have."
