  While everyone has been binging on turkey and general Thanksgiving leftovers over the past few days, I have also been binging on my guilty pleasure: old episodes of Sex and the City. Instead of catching up on homework or working on the many papers that I have due post-break, I spent the majority of my break curled up in bed watching my favorite TV show on earth—I went through three seasons in two days. And while I can go on and on about the wonders of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, I have found that Sex and the City is an infinite resource of great advice for the modern single gal. I get a lot of weird looks around campus. With the strange stares I receive, you would think that I am walking around with a Lady Gaga-esque meat dress. But I suppose that I might as well look like Lady Gaga because at Hendrix I am in the very small minority, I am the Waldo in the sea of students—I wear heels to class.             Men never quite understand why women dress the way that they do and I suppose that I am no exception.
